Scientifically known as Interferon beta-1b, Betaseron is one popular medication formulated and developed to treat any of the relapsing forms of one serious medical condition, multiple sclerosis. It has been around for years now, and that several researches and studies have already been conducted to determine its functions and uses.
Betaseron, on the most basic, is a protein type known as beta interferon which develops in the body in a natural way. Although it is formulated to treat multiple sclerosis, it is important to note that it is not guaranteed to cure such condition. The truth of the matter is that, there’s still no cure for multiple sclerosis and this medication only works to at least reduce the flare-ups caused by the disease. How Betaseron works with this disease is not clearly known.
Regardless of being capable of reducing the bothering symptoms of multiple sclerosis, Betaseron injection comes with a number of side effects. These Betaseron side effects are worth noting since any of them can cause further complications once left unattended or ignored. Want to know what these side effects are? Take note of the following:

To some experts, these conditions are a bit life threatening knowing that there are some people who think of ending their lives due to depression and anxiety. With that possibility, it is necessary for every person taking this medication to consult a friend or a family member right after the treatment. Medical attention must also be called right away.

On one hand, the function of their thyroid gland will change and that symptom like feeling hot or cold will occur.
