Dyazide

Dyazide is a treatment for edema or a disorder characterized by the accumulation of fluid content in the organs of the body. It is also used to treat patients with hypertension. The generic name of Dyazide is Triamterene-Hydrochlorothiazide. It can be taken as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other types of medication. This drug has its own set of potentials and hazards if used improperly.

Dyazide is classified as a diuretic – a group of drugs often termed as water pills. Diuretics help the body to excrete fluid through urine. Serious side effects of Dyazide include yellowish discoloration of the eyes and skin, vomiting, urine problem, heartbeat irregularities, confusion, sexual problem, cramps in leg muscles, frequent thirsting, drying of the month and swelling of the tongue, lips, face or mouth.
