Major interactions include: Thalomid, thalidomide, samarium sm 153 lexidronam and Quadramet.

Take Femara as prescribed by a health care expert or your doctor. Do not consume more that what is recommended by your doctor. Not all Femara dosages may apply to all patients so be keen with the doctor’s instructions. On the average, adult breast cancer patients should take one 2.5 milligram Femara tablet daily.

Common side effects of Femara include the following: bone pain, back pain, hot flashes, pain in the joints, muscle pain, anxiety, confusion, constipation, drying of the mouth, headache, diarrhea, excessive thirst, appetite loss, weight reduction, metal-like taste, skin rashes, loss of balance, sleeping problems, stomach upsetting, tiredness, weight increase, weakness and vomiting.

Tell your doctor more about your present and past medication. If your experiences with any of the side effects become unbearable, call your doctor, he may adjust or stop continued use of Femara. But if this drug brings good results to you avoid missing a dose For extra safety, store your Femara tablets in a dry place, away from the children’s reach.
