Renova

Benefits of Renova emollient cream are reduction in the appearance of fine wrinkles, brown spots and roughness on the texture of the skin. Though elimination of wrinkles, sunburn and damaged skin is beyond its scope, Renova skin care can have optimum efficiency when used together with other skin care products. Renova cream has an active ingredient of Vitamin A called tretinoin. Tretinoin is a Vitamin A metabolite in acid-form.

Renova cream or gel can have effects on all epidermis layers. The wrinkling of the skin has started at its innermost layer. The action of Renova is skin-deep, that is it can penetrate up to the deeper part of the epidermis. Renova’s effectiveness though gradual can really happen.

Many studies have been conducted on the efficacy of Renova to different people. It is to be expected that during the period of its use, Renova can affect the skin and can be undesirable. Signs such as peeling, dryness, irritation, redness and slight burning of the skin could appear after weeks of applying the product. These adverse effects can impel some to discontinue from using Renova. However, improvements have been shown to those who patronize the product and anticipate for its effects.

There are precautions on the use of Renova. Eczemas, hypersensitivity, pregnancy and allergic reactions to any ingredients of the product and to Vitamin A are some of the things that matter before using Renova. Patch test for allergic reactions is done to determine the sensitivity to the product. If you are doubtful on its reaction during its first use, it would be important to consult the dermatologist to make a determination on the safety of the product. People who always go out under the sun are not advised to use the product. It can cause serious damage if the skin that is applied with Renova or other tretinoin products has been exposed to the sun rays especially ultraviolet rays.

The application is done at night. Renova overnight applied once a day is the correct dosage. Apply a small amount on towel-dried skin after a soap wash cleaning. Avoid applying the tretinoin on and around the eyes, the nose angle, ears and mouth. Do not overdo the application as irritation may occur. Visible patch on the skin after application is a sign of over dosage.

During the treatment of Renova, you may experience worse reactions on the skin for a few weeks. Though it can be bothersome, these are just effects on its application, starting points before reaching its beneficial effect. Acnes may start to get worse but would improve in the coming days. For reducing facial lines, benefits on this may take a longer while. It can be up to four months before you see a great improvement. The benefits may vary from every person. Improvements can be experienced for a longer time to one person but could take for just a few weeks to another person.

Using other skin care products can have ill-effects to the skin when combined with tretinoin or when use during its treatment. When you use strong agents such as astringents, medicated soaps and hair removers, make sure that they will not irritate the skin. Stop using the items after its first-line of undesirable reaction. Use moisturizers on the skin in the morning after an overnight use of Renova. Sunscreen with SPF 15 and above can be best used for sun protection. Avoid over exposure to the sun and even undergo skin tanning to a tanning lamp.
