Septra DS is just one of the brand names of an antibiotic that is known to cure bacterial contaminations in the body such as the urinary tract infections. Sulfamethoxazole and trimethropim, as its generic name, is commonly used among patients with ear infections, Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, bronchitis, and traveler’s diarrhea.
